In ander nieuws: Vanmiddag eindelijk een DS gekocht. 'n witte, want die was (ohohoho~) 30 euro goedkoper. Met daarbij de spellen New Super Mario Bros. en Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates. <3

En nog anders: Ik heb gisteren officieel mijn ontslag ingedient bij de Albert Heijn. Ik blijf er werken tot 1 augustus. (waarop gelijk ook al m'n overgebleven vakantieuren worden uitbetaald. Mega bonus dus. <3)
Ik vindt het op zich wel jammer voor m'n collegas en bedrijfleiders, aangezien ik en Alex, een goede vriend die daar ook nu weg gaat, zonder twijfel de meest ervaren vakkenvullers (Niet dat je daar trots op kan zijn ^^;) in de avondploeg zijn. En aangezien wij nu weg gaan, tja, denk ik dat ze nog wel een probleempje of twee gaan tegen komen. Maar ach, komt wel goed met ze, toch? ^^;

Changed the layout of my journal, since I found out that Danielle was still hosting the pics I used to have in the layout. I'm sure she can use that space for something better. XD

Since I'll be going to see Miyavi on the 24th of June, I've recently started listening to his music again. And damn, I forgot he has a LOT of awesome songs! Can't wait to hear him live! <3

Currently working. A LOT. From Tuesday to Friday, it's delivering mail for the TNT postal service. Usually from 11:00 to...around 15:30/16:00. That's for delivering 2 districts (can't quite find the correct translation of "wijk") of mail in my hometown. I can't say I'm fast, not at all, but at least I'm doing a good job. I know where mail goes when it's addressed faulty, I find all the controlcards (Cards they put in the mail to check on how well we seperate mail for every address), I clean up the mess I make in the depots (Something a LOT of my colleagues can learn from, it seems -_-;) and I'm friendly to the people I meet at the door. (also something some people can learn from)...and it makes a lotta money too! Since I have a contract for 4 hours a week (yes, you're reading that right, 4 hours a week), the rest of the hours that I make are being counted as extra and they're being payed for in that way as well! I get 8,57 per hour, which is about...2,5 euros more then I get at the Albert Heijn. ULTIMATE YAY! Finally! I'll have something to use to pay for my driver's license!!!

Oh yes, Albert Heijn. I still work there, 6 years in a row now, every evening (except Tuesday and Saturday) from 18:00 to 20:00. The pay sucks, the colleagues and staff suck and the work is repetitive and could be done by a trained monkey. Still, I'm there. Why?! Because it's another 300 euros extra next to what I get at the TNT and, silly to say, I haven't got anything better to do anyway. I'm starting school again in August! Finally! Give me a project and homework and I'll make it without any complaint! I know now how important schoolwork is and I'm determined to finish the level 4 MBO ICT course to continue onto the HBO courses and finally specialize myself in something! *clenches fist in determination* *\^O^/*

And, of course, there's cons and cosplay and anime and all that, but it's not important compared to the above, that is. XD
Although, I've picked up writing again. And I can say one thing for sure, I'm ever so glad Lidy asked me to start writing with her, her writing style and the dynamics and the way she uses every single one of her character's traits so well...I must say, I'm constantly impressed as I read her writings. We'll release something for you all to read when it's ready, okay? XD

Fruits Basket - Ritsu Sohma by isisishtar. Even though he's a bit spazzy and easy to drive into a fit of apologies, he knows who he is and where he stands in the Sohma family...let's just forget that and say that he looks absolutely smashing in his pink/purple kimono. XD

Happiness! - Jun Watarase by sakura_201: What can I say about him...he has long purple hair, likes to tease other guys with his personality and likes to wear clothing made for girls, while looking superbly wonderful in them. Favorite trap #1, so to say. <3

Kanon - Nayuki Minase by chianna: Nayuki is SO CUTE. Period. She's cute when she sees cats (but can't touch them because of her allergy ^^;), she's cute when she sleeps (and the amount of alarmclocks in her room is just ridiculous XD), she's cute when she slams her head into the table because she's still sleepy (Yeah, she is. XD) and so on! She's friendly and helpful too! ^__^

Mahou Sensei Negima - Nodoka Miyazaki by voxune: Ultimate shygirl love love love~! Nodoka'll blush and mumble when there's talk about Negi-sensei or him being with her and all that, but on the other hand, she's a very reliable person and she knows...well, a LOT. Guess that's what happens when you're a member of the Library Exploration club. XD

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha - Subaru Nakajima by marco_puu: Subaru is, in contrary to the many traps and shy girls on my list, a character that's totally different. Her mode of transportation are a pair of motorized rollerblades (I'll kick the first person saying that they're Air Trecks, Mach Caliber = Awesome.), she attacks with speed and air-pressurized kicks and punches (As well as her own version of the famous Divine Buster), screams a lot of "UUURYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~!"'s when she's charging forward and, well, she just looks totally awesome when doing so. <3 for Nanoha Strikers.

Minami-ke - Makoto "Mako-chan" by sakura_201: Another trap, yet this one is...quite a bit different. He's a big idiot, he's completely ignorant of other people's feelings and he knows perfectly well how to confuse someone greatly. Yet he's adorable when he's skipping around in this dresses he bought, so I guess that makes it allright. <3

Saint Seiya - Cygnus no Hyoga by isisishtar: He's hot. He has blond hair. He's a real mother's boy (which is a good thing, except when Ikki or Camus fxed it up). He's hot. He attacks with ice and the frosty winds of the northern tundras. Did I say that he was hot already? XD

As for myself, most people here know it already, but I finished my internship last week and with that, I also succesfully passed all of my exams and am done with my current education course. ^__^
I have no idea what I'm going to do next, so I'm going to work for about half a year while searching for a new education course. I'll stay in the ICT business, but I want to specialize more. I want to find what I'm good at and what I enjoy to do. Those are my two goals at this point. But first, graduation and recieving of my certificate! ^__^

The Naruto act on Animecon 2005. It was random, it was silly, it featured characters that weren't even IN Naruto, but we had fun. Oh yes indeed.
Naruto act shares the 1st place with the Princess Princess group though. The whole dancing thing and and walking around all day in a dress, along with Tim and Marco who were in dresses as well...<333~! ^___^

What is your worst cosplay experience?
Ugh. Either "Neji" or "Nagi". Lol, both names are 4 characters and begin with an N and end with a I. It must be hitsuzen. XD

Let's see...when I visited the Animecon forum to look around a bit on what there was to do at the con. Sub-forum named cosplay...what the fudge is that? *looks up images and info*...gotta do that as well. Period. XD

At conventions and sometimes at meetings. I'd rather not go out and cosplay at random, I've gotta have some reason for it. A planned photoshoot or any other event is enough.

Sure, a few.

Nope. Doesn't bother me all to much, if I'm being quite honest.

Do you plan your cosplay outfits waaay before you’re meant to wear them?
Of course, that's the way things work. The only problem is that they're usually switched with other cosplays and/or forgotten in the sands of time.

Heh. A silly question.

Not..really? Not that I can think of? I mean, I've never had the need to fix anything or whatever.

Seeing other people cosplaying as characters from the series you're cosplaying from as well. Talking with people how they made their costumes, talking about the character and why they chose it (and/or any kind of random talk about the character and relations XD) and all that.

What is the worst thing about cosplay?
Things breaking apart on your cosplay, hearing comments such as "I could've done that SO much better." I mean, if you want to cosplay the same character, fine. If you're better in making cosplays then me, fine. But you do NOT have to rub it into my face that I have simple made costumes.

Just a little something I thought that's...pretty much about what I am. And I'm certain some people here would agree with me. ^^;
I wanna change that though! And not only because I read this!

I wonder how I came to be like this...hmm~, probably because of Sanne, my ex from...3 years back? Or was it 4 years already? Can't remember. ^^;;;
Either way: why am I putting so much effort in keeping a girlfriend? Shouldn't the effort to keep a relationship going come from both sides?
As it says in the link, I used to shower my girlfriends with presents almost every time we met, but a relationship shouldn't be about materialistic things, it should be about feelings and living together without any trouble! Sex is not even a requirement! Not at all!

Yes, I know, I can still be a friendly guy and everything, but what if I had given a little less attention to my previous relationships? Would I've forced my girlfriend into showing that she cared about me and our relationship as well? Would it have equalized our efforts and provided a normal relationship? Would it have made her think that I've lost interest and make her uneasy? So many possibilities which I have to keep in mind...which everyone in a relationship has to keep in mind!

Whoa~, did I just type this? I must've been really talking from the heart here, I didn't intend this post to become this long or this serious about myself! XD

Either way: if anyone's got any advice or comment on my ideas, please say so~! ^__^

Now, about something else: This weekend was fun!
Saturday: I just headed for the train without any definite destination in mind, but I'm glad I did! I bought a 19X19 Go board in Utrecht, which means that I can REALLY focus on making some good joseki and practice various forms of opening and attacking and such! Also: bought a new necklace for my OC, Khanya. (The crazy gypsy/hippy git XD) A white fan without any descriptions on it (FINALLY~!) and a white shawl for Elanthor, seeing that the Midwinter Fair is already around the corner and such.
Then, when I came back to Den Bosch, I first bought Chevalier d'Eon 2 and talked a bit with Jimmy and a friend of his, after they left I was called by Marco, who asked if I could come around and pick up my GameBoy Advance, which I forgot there a few weeks ago. While there, I ate (For some reason, cooked apple in chicken curry = YUM~!), played a bit of Teaching Go versus Stefan, in return learned to play Chess (Now I can finally play Dian! I was so delighted!) and lastly played a...interesting game of Magic, while using one of Radboud's decks. We were going pretty strong, but ended up overwhelmed at the endgame. Oh well, I had fun! ^___^
And then on sunday, I went to Amstelveen, to the Europian Center for Go, where the first national Hikaru no Go day was held. In short, that meant a small introduction into the history of Go and a explanation of Honinbou Shuusaku's games (No wonder he was called the Invincible ._.;), a chance to see a Japan-styled room, complete with authentic Go board, stones and chairs. That was where a few of the official games for titles were played. It was...exhilarating, to say the very least. And a great honour to sit in that same chair as a few of the master players did. Heh, Fujiwara no Sai (A cosplayer, mind you XD) even guided my playing. XD
Entered a small tournament as well, came out with 2 wins and 2 losses and a sort-of determined ranking in which I came out as 18th through 16th kyu. That's pretty high for one who hasn't been playing for all too long yet.

Went home, sleep and now it's all work work work again. This Thursday, the big move from the old city hall to the new one will commence. I have to work from 08:00 to 22:00, for crying out loud! I can go home, have 1 hour of free time, then go to sleep. I certainly hope that I don't ever have to do this again. o___o;; (Though it IS a rare experience to help with a move this big. ^__^)

Aaaanyway, this entry's gonna be pretty random, so don't say I didn't warn ya. ^^

Yesterday, when we were at Lidy for practice for our Princess Princess act at Abunai, we went like "Hey! Tim's gonna come home soon, let's all dress up and go meet him!". So we did. XD

Lidy and Marco in their almost fully complete Princess dresses and me in quite a few pieces of clothing that were borrowed from Lidy...but the borrowing part doesn't matter (Well, it does actually, I was honestly super glad that I could borrow it all AND that they were in my size as well! XD), but then when I wore the outfit and looked at myself in the mirror (with a wig on and all), I just felt...I don't know, at ease with myself. Like, as if all my worries about my body (Yes, I have those, I blame myself ^^;) just became mist and flew out of the window, not to be looked back upon...in short: I LOVED IT!

Then, when we were outside, a lot of people stared at us. What? People from Wassenaar (I almost typed Townsville. XD) haven't seen crossplaying before? Shame on them! XD
Though some people reacted with things like "Oh, you all look so nice!" and we had a guessing game with some kids on who of us was a guy and who wasn't. Brilliant! XD (Oh, and some guys on a moped passed us by, then came by again to take a good look at us. Princess's Smile for you, mister! XD)

Ooooooooooooooooh~...can't wait until Abunai~!! \^O^/

And I bought hair-removing cream today. Gonna try it out tomorrow, woot~!

Also also: I'm busy with work practice at the moment. Going to Lidy on Sunday, practice practice-desu~! I'll bring my camera along so she can tape us practicing, so that we have something to show people who aren't coming to Abunai exactly what we're going to perform on stage! (And give those that ARE coming a taste of what's to come XD)
School's going great! Gotta work on finishing 2 studytasks, but they'll be a piece of cake if I can set my mind to it. After finishing those two, it'll be 15 weeks of work practice for me after that, which will be mostly the same as the last period...but that doesn't matter, because then I know that I can do a good job over there! Use the same systems, take the same phonecalls, everything! ^__^

VERY much looking forward to Abunai, mostly because of being able to see all of my friends again, hug people, break some windows with Karaoke, do a good job at gophering aaaand...to just have fun with everyone~!! ^_________^ (Oh, and to give some sort of apology to Kurosaki Ichigo. I've been a bit too harsh on him at the time when I didn't know he had a language problem...so yeah, that's a important part of the con as well. ^^)

A anime and manga which centers around a young girl, Sakura, out there to collect clow cards and battle fearsome foes. One of the cutest CLAMP anime I've seen until so far!

Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh (In which I SUCK! Seriously! I noticed that from last weekend's duel!), Shaman King, Avatar, Rockman.EXE...need I say more? I love collecting and I love playing against people (For fun, mind you!), a great way to spend your free time!

Computers!
My education course is all about this and to be quite honest, I'm spending a lot of time of the day working with em. And even though they've become a vital part of the communication field of our world, I still wonder what the world would look like if they never had been invented...ah well, that's something for me to wonder about, I think. ^^;

Cosplay! What else?! XD
Even though I have no sewing skills whatsoever, my dear mums helps me out in making various outfits for the annual cons, so I don't take any credit in making the cosplay, but I DO have lots (and I DO mean LOTS) of fun when cosplaying! Either alone cosplaying a totally new character from some obscure anime or together with a group, putting down our best performance as we go, I don't care, as long as I can do it! ^___^

Coffee!
I've never drank it before! And I don't want to, really! I mean, I have no trouble waking up whatsoever and to imagine the bitterness people talk about...ugh, it just doesn't seem like a nice drink to me~! (And then there's that it rots your teeth and everything ^^;)

A song by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers! The clip consists of many kaleidoscopic images and lots of flashing colours and birds flying around and such. A pretty nice song too. ^^

Zettai Fukuju Meirei!
A...quite interesting yaoi game and the base storyline used for our online RP Submission, which is, sadly, not online anymore...but the writing still goes on! And in a good way too! *grins broadly*

Zone of the Enders!
A game series for the PlayStation and Playstation 2, Zone of the Enders was a action-oriented game that can be compared to today's Samurai Warriors and all of it's spin-offs, excluding the ability to actually increase your stats and level up. My brother sold the second game. *rawr*

Zero!
From the Rockman X series! Booblights, energy sword in hand, butt-buddy...I mean, best friend at his side, Zero fought through the entire Rockman X after which he was retired and revived later on in the Rockman Zero series for the GBA where his actions saved the world once more. His legend lives on in Rockman ZX, where Rockman Zero's spirit becomes a base unit for the R.O.C.K. system. But I can babble for two more hours about his awesomeness and still not be done, so I'll leave it at this. ^^ (I still want to cosplay as him though~!!)

Knights of the Zodiac!
The title for the American release of Saint Seiya. Not much more I can explain there. XD

Z!
An old strategy game for Windows 95 (Hurray for DOSbox!!), you controlled red robots and fought against other forces of robots attacking your camp and country. Lots of Command and Conquer, but I always liked those kind of games! ^__^ (Fun fact: When you sent out a normal infantry to attack a tank it would respond with something like "You crazy?!" XD)

(From this point on, I had to use a dictionary to think of subjects. XD)

Both of my lower wisdom teeth have just been removed~!

It's no fun, I'll tell you that. First there were a few 6 pricks of a syringe injecting the sedation fluid, which went fine, no problem at all. But when I sat into the chair, I started shaking all over and hyperventilating too. I was really terrified for some reason, but thank the stars for the nurse, she helped me calm down a lot.
Oh yes, and I wanted to apologize to the surgeon for my panicky reaction while he was busy with me, but the nurse said it was a normal reaction, so there was no need to.

And now...I have to wait for the sedation to stop working. My cheecks are swollen like a hamster and my tongue feels like a slab of useless meat lounging around in my mouth and sipping a martini.

Short entry, I know, but it's quite a hassle to type with hand, the other's holding an ice pack as it is. ^^;

And thus, my time has come...

To go on a vacation as well! XD

Well, not actually a vacation...Gaby's parents are gone for a week, so she suggested I'd come over to her. Problem is that she has to work all day long, 6 days a week...so I'm gonna work alongside of her. She talked to her boss, who was glad because all the more help would come in very handy and I got off from work without any trouble (Which is a very VERY rare exception), so I'm all set!

I won't be able to online much (Though I'll check my mail every evening, so don't worry about that), if you really want to reach me, I brought along my cellphone so that shouldn't be a problem. People that are attending Castlefest: Please let me know who's going and when, I'm prepared to go for two days, but if the majority of the group going there chooses to go on saturday or sunday only, please let me know~! (Heck, let me know either way! XD)

(First paragraph is important for my Dutch friendsies only~ ^^;) Goed, voor de mensen die naar Chibicon gaan en waar ik tegen gezegd heb dat ik mee zou gaan (Which are...quite a few people, methinks. ^^;), ik kom njiet. Ik heb namelijk te horen gekregen dat m'n tante en oom precies op de dag van Chibicon hun 25-jarig huwelijk vieren en tja~, dat moet gevierd worden, ne? Hoe dan ook, I won't be comin', maar ik wens iedereen die er wel naar toe gaat erg veel plezier toe in ieder geval~!! ^___^

And on another note (switching to English here): last Thursday I attended the second in series of three exams (Called Proeven van Bekwaamheid over here) and...I did pretty well! I wasn't as confident as I was for the first exam (because I didn't have THAT much oppurtunities to practice), but it went better then I thought. And even thought the results aren't official yet (Because of the higher-ups that have to look throught the whole thing -_-;), I'm certain I'll pass. Which leaves me the last 3/4th of a year to complete 1 project at school and the rest to find another internship spot and get to my last exam, it'll work out, I'm sure of it! ^___^
3 weeks of current internship to go, then it's vacation time~! \o/ (Even though I'm not going anywhere. XD)

Oh, and for the people that are wondering: My birthday probably won't be celebrated until somewhere in...August maybe. XD

LJ post “Thank you~!”

Well, this is gonna sound a bit weird, but I’ve been feeling really grateful lately and I noticed all of the good things, advice and experiences which I have people to thank for…and so, I wanna make a post about it!
This post isn’t meant to be emo-ish or anything, I just wanted to thank people…and I felt that I should! ^__^

So here we go~! (In no particular order, I just though of people I had to thank and I wrote something about him/her)

Thank you Mom and Dad, for bringing me into this world, for being there for me when I needed you and just for looking after me. (Even though we disagree sometimes…but that doesn’t matter XD)

Thank you Big Brother, just for being my brother.

Thank you Daniélle, for being my girlfriend for those lovely 6 months and for granting me the chance to fulfil a few of my life’s goals. (Utterly silly romantical thingies, of course XD)

Thank you Lidy, for being such a nice person to me, for providing a WHOLE LOT of smexxy goodness and for being a role model to me. (Aye, sounds weird, I know, but that’s how I think about it. ^^;)

Thank you Radboud, for still wanting to be friends with me after all that happened, I really really really appreciate it! (Even if you don’t think about it the same way I do, this was just one of the things I was quite afraid of…but it didn’t happen! Thanks to your kindness! ^___^)

Thank you Marlies, for giving me a second chance in being friends with you (Ehehe…that’s what I make of it anyway, if I’m wrong, please say so, ne?) and for allowing me to have so many good times along with you.

Thank you Marco, for simply being a good friend. (It’s not much that I have to say, but it means so much more. ^__^)

Thank you Sandrine, for providing so many good and fun times and for being such a good friend to me.

Thank you Pamela, for making Woodberry, which has provided me with LOTS of role-play experience and an overall “feel good” feeling. ^^

Thank you colleagues and classmates, for putting up with me for all this time and for telling me about stuff I didn’t know about.

Thank you teachers and mentors, also for putting with me, but also for trying to teach me all that I wanted to know.

Thank you Sharon, for entrusting your feelings (Sounds SO cheesy, huh? XD) with me, it really feels good to know that people trust me with these kind of things! ^__^

Thank you Coby, for showing me…things I didn’t know at all about.

Thank you Derk, for making me laugh countless of times and for being on of the few people in our class which I can decently talk to. *kicks Youssef and Danny*

Thank you Drazen, for helping me out with numerous things and for being an overall nice guy.

Thank you to everyone of my previous group of friends, for giving me the chance to just relax and have fun with all of you.

And lastly, thanks to each and every one for anything that you’ve done for me that I’ve forgotten, also for letting me describe you as “friend” and for reading this. ^___^

On a different note: I’m really looking forward to tomorrow evening (When I’m going to Radboud’s birthday meet (Which reminds me that I still have to wrap the present. XD)), internship is boooring as per usual and I’ll probably celebrate my own birthday after Animecon, when there’s been enough time between events. ^^
