Since I'm going to participate in the NaNoWriMo (The National Novel Writing Month, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Novel_Writing_Month) and I've decided not to let myself be distracted by the Internet and all that, I send this to you as notice: I won't be online at all during November. Those who really, REALLY need me can reach me through mail or on my cellphone, but please do not expect a swift reply. Since I'm also busy (and I DO mean BUSY!) with school and I still have work to cope with, it's going to take up the rest of my free time to make this work and thus, distractions aren't really helpful.

I know myself, I get distracted WAY too easily by all sorts of things, but that's okay. I'll just...unplug my wireless access card or something. Solved! Wait, then I can't update my word count...either way: You know how to reach me if you need me and, well, see you in a month!

As for an update on life: I went shopping in Amsterdam last saturday with Lizette, San-chan's sister.
Wasn't the original planning though, I had to go to her place either way, because I left my coat there. Silly me. XD
But when we decided on a time at which I'd be there, I also told her that I needed to by a present for Wybs and she was like "Okay, then we're going to Amsterdam." And I was like "...sure!" And so we had fun!

The weather was great, there were LOADS of people (as always, it's Amsterdam! XD), the Amsterdam City Library is HUGE ( 7 stories, all filled with to the brim with books, CD's, DVD's, high tech computers and places to study! I'm certain I could lose myself in there for days! XD), bought nice presents for teh wybsu (And also one for Marlies, in advance. XD), went into various bookstores (the American Book Center has so many books! And cheap too! Amazing!) and generally just talked about any and everything we could think of. Oh, and had a delicious cheese/mushroom/bacon pancake as dinner. Oh, and a caramal sauce ice cream coupe. De-li-cious, I tell you. <3

And then we had to go our seperate ways, because it was getting late already. I told her to kick her physical therapist for giving her more pain and a huge headache after treating her and put her on the train back to her hometown.

I'm glad I decided to go that day, I'm really feeling a bond shaping up between me and my closest friends. \^o^/

Seriously!), it was a GREAT day with GREAT weather, loads of GREAT and <3ly friends and superspecialawesome presents (From everybody, yes!) and, heh, it seems I can do more with my hands then I imagined! I mean, er, in a massaging way. You get my point. >_>;;

Also: Today was a great day as well! Slept over at Sandrine's, woke up with apple/cinnamon tea (Favorite Y/Y?) and "poptarts" (Incredibly sweet and probably very unhealthy, but SOOOO GOOD~! <3), went over to Lid'l's place and saw some very very very nice art (Keep it up girl!), went back to Sandrine's, picked her up and drove over to the beach. Well, not exactly the beach, because we didn't see any of it (Smelled it though. Lovely salty smell. <3), but we sat down at the newly refurbished eating/drinking establisment whatchemacallit. And had alcohol and unhealthy snacks. But it was good. And we certainly enjoyed ourselves. And, if you're reading this, *inhale* ALL THE BEST OF LUCK SANDRINE! WE'LL CERTAINLY MISS YOU FOR THE UPCOMING THREE MONTHS!

-Rockman: A HUUUGE franchise of games which I've grown up with and which I've loved to play for many years now. Bought games, saw the anime, bought the manga, cosplayed as a character (and planning to do so more often!) and all that more! Rockman <3.

-Pudding: This one I couldn't fit. The most obvious reference would, of course, be my Lloyd "Earl of Pudding" Asplund cosplay...but it's loads of fun to find the hidden meaning! Hell, I don't even know if there really IS a hidden meaning! Probably not! XD

-Crossplay: It's what I loooooooooooooooooooooooove to do! I wore a dress (Multi-layered, sparkling white with golden embroidery) last weekend and I was so comfortable in it! Same goes for my Tohru cosplay! And...well, stick me in any kind of female clothing (if it fits, that is. XD) and I'll love it!

-Good guy: It's what I am, I guess? Well, no, it's what I try to be to the best of my capabilities. While other guys of my age (the ones doing what they want to do and not paying any attention to rules or laws) are turning into the scum of society, I will do whatever it takes to make this world a better place to live in. For myself, for my future wife/husband and kids and for everyone else. I can't do much, I know that, I'm not a creator of miracles, but can you imagine how much better the world would be if everyone was just nice to each other?
Kind of an ideal situation, yeah, but dreamers can always dream!

-Holland: I'm not a patriotic person. I'm also in no way "proud" that I was born in Holland. But do those things really matter? We've got the things that set us apart (wouldn't want to say "make us famous to the rest of the world" because then you'd be talking about things that are WAY different elsewhere.), we've got our climate and our ever-changing weather, we've got our clogs, windmills, tulips, huge open fields where our cows spend their days and large dense cities where the traffic is chaos and the people are varying from nice to each other to being completely a-social.
I guess it's still nice to live here, wouldn't you say?

THAT's IT! I'm NEVER wearing combat boots again unless there is an emergency or if I really really REALLY can't wear anything else! Last weekend was the London Expo (more about that in a minute) and I was there wearing my Chipp Zanuff cosplay. With army boots. And due to my normal shoes being stuffed in the deepest part of my bag, I had to wear the boots all the way back to Holland. A FREAKING 11 HOUR BUS RIDE! And now I'm home, with a HUGE swollen foot.

Like I said, I'm never going to wear the bloody things again! >____<

I missed Marlies (sorta?) going-away party and...well, I generally bored myself to death at my brother's birthday. >_>;

I'm at home right now, sick from work...well, you can't really call it sick since I feel pretty much fine...

But anyway, a warning to you all: Balance what you drink and eat and don't use too much salt! Kidney stones are a gigantic pain in the arse! But here's how the caper came down: (lol COPS reference *geek*)

I woke up this morning with this UBERLY HUGE stinging pain in the left side and broke out in cold sweat as, as per usual, I started to think of things that could be wrong with me. Including cancer and tumors and all that. Not a pleasent moment, I can assure you.

Either way: My mom called the local doctors who told her they needed a urine sample which she delivered over to them (I would've gone along myself, but I couldn't even sit up straight, so that didn't really work out. ^^;) and when she came home, I was so relieved! It seems I have a tiny kidney stone rolling around somewhere down there, because they found bits of blood in my urine. And so now, well, I'm home. Called in sick at work, so that's all good. *sigh of relief*

I was already planning to send a mail to Abunai, telling them that I wouldn't be able to show up, but I guess that's not necessarry anymore, right? XD

Oh, and about Abunai, my lolita outfit is almost complete! My walking stick is being made now (and it's going to be pretty~!) and my pants were...err...shortened? Not really sure how to say that in English...oh well, anyway, they were made a bit shorter then they actually were. Aaaand...my Spy is completely done aand my mom took my measurements for Lloyd's labcoat yesterday, so I do think it's all going to work out just fine! I'll be heading over to Abunai on Thursday evening and I'll be certain to keep my cellphone on at all times during the con, so if you ever need me for anything, just call! (And I have pockets in all of my cosplays! How handy! XD)

Well, to start at the beginning, monday was my first day in school since...October last year. It felt rather refreshing, to see my teachers again and to see all those new faces, all (sort-of) ready to fill their heads with knowledge. Anyway, after finding out which class I was in, I went there and I was rather happy with my new classmates. The one next to me was 24, so I wasn't the oldest one, to my surprise. XD

And so, 2 and a half hours of introductions and information giving ensued. After that, me, my mentor and my work practice counselor all said the same thing: I was in the wrong year, I should've been placed in the second. Because if I were to start in the first year, I'd just be repeating the 3rd level of our education course over again. And, of course, that's a waste of time and money. So! Went to the administration desk, had my year changed and immediatly went out to find a place where I could start work practice, because all the second year student start the second year with 5 months of work practice. Found one immediatly through a recommendation of my work practice counselor and had a intake the day after. Went pretty smoothly because I was accepted on the spot. Joy!

Wednesday was a free day, so I used that search for clothes for my lolita outfit and, to my other surprise, I had a lot of success! Now all I need is pants, a cane and shoes and I'm done! \^O^/

Either way, today was my first day at work practice. First got a whole rundown on what my work would be during the period (I have the "very special and responsible" job of putting out the trash every 2 weeks. I never felt so honored before in my life. -_-;) and also a readout of the rules and guidelines of the place. Picking up the phone, yeah bla bla bla all very understandable. But then it came to this: I'm not allowed to leave my cellphone on during work hours and I'm also not allowed to check my mail. In other words, I'm completely unreachable during...8 hours of the day. Wonderful. I think I'm heading towards a very boring period. -_-;

Oh yes, and then there's another problem: I work from 9:15 to 17:15 and I have to work at the Albert Heijn at 18:00. I can make it, no problem, but doing this for 5 months? And no, I won't be able to eat during that time, it's 25-30 minutes by bike at top speed, so I don't really have any time to do anything. So, in short, I'll be working everyday from 9:15 to 20:15 (or 21:15 on fridays). What the heck have I gotten myself into? ^_^;

I'll go talk with my manager tomorrow, to see if I can sort out this mess somehow and at least grant me some time to live a normal life, not being rushed almost all the time.

I'm complaining about it, I know, but I'm sure there are fairly little people out there that work 10 or 11 hours per day, 5 days a week. ^_^;

In other news: Today I told my boss that I wanted to quit the TNT, he wasn't happy with it (and neither were a few of my colleagues, to my surprise), but he agreed, saying that it was my own decision. See that? I'm making my own decisions! Ha! My parents tried to convince me not to quit, but I did so anyway, because:
- Main reason: I'm out of the house on nearly every saturday, which has forced me many times to ask for a colleague to work for me. If I don't work there anymore, I won't have to ask. Easy!
- I'm starting school again next week and thus, I'll only be able to work on saturdays. Will 3 measily hours per week bring in a lot of money? No, it certainly won't. Pretty useless then, right?

Selfish reasons? Aye, certainly. Do I care? No, not really, because it's my life and my free time I'm sacrificing. Now gotta finish working till the 1st of October (due to forms that have to be filled in, administration that has to be completed and new people that have to be hired in my place), so I guess I'll make the best of it, eh?

Also in other news: Lolita clothing is expensive! o_O;;
And so, I'm going to Den Bosch (or any other large city) and I'm going to buy some clothing that's close to the kodana/dandy/ouji (Google it yourself if you're interested. X3) style of the lolita fashion. I have some pretty good ideas on what to get thanks to both Ms. Iddlewith and Lisu-chama. It won't be from any fancy brands (As I said, WAY too expensive), it'll be just clothing that I can find that looks like it, but I'll try to make it match to the style to the best of my abilities!

Enough bla-ing, I've got Black Cat and Yuusha-ou: GAOGAIGAR to watch!

En nog anders: Ik heb gisteren officieel mijn ontslag ingedient bij de Albert Heijn. Ik blijf er werken tot 1 augustus. (waarop gelijk ook al m'n overgebleven vakantieuren worden uitbetaald. Mega bonus dus. <3)
Ik vindt het op zich wel jammer voor m'n collegas en bedrijfleiders, aangezien ik en Alex, een goede vriend die daar ook nu weg gaat, zonder twijfel de meest ervaren vakkenvullers (Niet dat je daar trots op kan zijn ^^;) in de avondploeg zijn. En aangezien wij nu weg gaan, tja, denk ik dat ze nog wel een probleempje of twee gaan tegen komen. Maar ach, komt wel goed met ze, toch? ^^;

Edit: Morgen iemand iets te doen? Ik verveel me te pletter thuis.

Changed the layout of my journal, since I found out that Danielle was still hosting the pics I used to have in the layout. I'm sure she can use that space for something better. XD

Since I'll be going to see Miyavi on the 24th of June, I've recently started listening to his music again. And damn, I forgot he has a LOT of awesome songs! Can't wait to hear him live! <3

Currently working. A LOT. From Tuesday to Friday, it's delivering mail for the TNT postal service. Usually from 11:00 to...around 15:30/16:00. That's for delivering 2 districts (can't quite find the correct translation of "wijk") of mail in my hometown. I can't say I'm fast, not at all, but at least I'm doing a good job. I know where mail goes when it's addressed faulty, I find all the controlcards (Cards they put in the mail to check on how well we seperate mail for every address), I clean up the mess I make in the depots (Something a LOT of my colleagues can learn from, it seems -_-;) and I'm friendly to the people I meet at the door. (also something some people can learn from)...and it makes a lotta money too! Since I have a contract for 4 hours a week (yes, you're reading that right, 4 hours a week), the rest of the hours that I make are being counted as extra and they're being payed for in that way as well! I get 8,57 per hour, which is about...2,5 euros more then I get at the Albert Heijn. ULTIMATE YAY! Finally! I'll have something to use to pay for my driver's license!!!

Oh yes, Albert Heijn. I still work there, 6 years in a row now, every evening (except Tuesday and Saturday) from 18:00 to 20:00. The pay sucks, the colleagues and staff suck and the work is repetitive and could be done by a trained monkey. Still, I'm there. Why?! Because it's another 300 euros extra next to what I get at the TNT and, silly to say, I haven't got anything better to do anyway. I'm starting school again in August! Finally! Give me a project and homework and I'll make it without any complaint! I know now how important schoolwork is and I'm determined to finish the level 4 MBO ICT course to continue onto the HBO courses and finally specialize myself in something! *clenches fist in determination* *\^O^/*

And, of course, there's cons and cosplay and anime and all that, but it's not important compared to the above, that is. XD
Although, I've picked up writing again. And I can say one thing for sure, I'm ever so glad Lidy asked me to start writing with her, her writing style and the dynamics and the way she uses every single one of her character's traits so well...I must say, I'm constantly impressed as I read her writings. We'll release something for you all to read when it's ready, okay? XD

Guess that's what happens when you're a member of the Library Exploration club. XD

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha - Subaru Nakajima by marco_puu: Subaru is, in contrary to the many traps and shy girls on my list, a character that's totally different. Her mode of transportation are a pair of motorized rollerblades (I'll kick the first person saying that they're Air Trecks, Mach Caliber = Awesome.), she attacks with speed and air-pressurized kicks and punches (As well as her own version of the famous Divine Buster), screams a lot of "UUURYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~!"'s when she's charging forward and, well, she just looks totally awesome when doing so. <3 for Nanoha Strikers.

Minami-ke - Makoto "Mako-chan" by sakura_201: Another trap, yet this one is...quite a bit different. He's a big idiot, he's completely ignorant of other people's feelings and he knows perfectly well how to confuse someone greatly. Yet he's adorable when he's skipping around in this dresses he bought, so I guess that makes it allright. <3

Saint Seiya - Cygnus no Hyoga by isisishtar: He's hot. He has blond hair. He's a real mother's boy (which is a good thing, except when Ikki or Camus fxed it up). He's hot. He attacks with ice and the frosty winds of the northern tundras. Did I say that he was hot already? XD

As for myself, most people here know it already, but I finished my internship last week and with that, I also succesfully passed all of my exams and am done with my current education course. ^__^
I have no idea what I'm going to do next, so I'm going to work for about half a year while searching for a new education course. I'll stay in the ICT business, but I want to specialize more. I want to find what I'm good at and what I enjoy to do. Those are my two goals at this point. But first, graduation and recieving of my certificate! ^__^

Oh happy day~! My parents just announced that they'll be away in the weekend of 17-18th of May. Which is the weekend after my birthday! So, some quick thinking (Me? Yeah right.) and I asked them. And they agreed! I can celebrate my birthday during that weekend!

So, long story short: you're all invited! I know it's still...what, 4 and a half months away, but that doesn't matter! Better to let it know way beforehand so people can keep that spot open on their calenders! That is, if they want to come. XD

Though I very little about sewing, I am able to make a cosplay out of mostly random clothing that's lying around the house. Only a few cosplays out of those though. Gotta learn more about sewing first.

What was your favourite cosplay experience?
The Naruto act on Animecon 2005. It was random, it was silly, it featured characters that weren't even IN Naruto, but we had fun. Oh yes indeed.
Naruto act shares the 1st place with the Princess Princess group though. The whole dancing thing and and walking around all day in a dress, along with Tim and Marco who were in dresses as well...<333~! ^___^

What is your worst cosplay experience?
Ugh. Either "Neji" or "Nagi". Lol, both names are 4 characters and begin with an N and end with a I. It must be hitsuzen. XD

When and where did you first learn of cosplay?
Let's see...when I visited the Animecon forum to look around a bit on what there was to do at the con. Sub-forum named cosplay...what the fudge is that? *looks up images and info*...gotta do that as well. Period. XD

Awesomely cool.

Where do you usually cosplay?
At conventions and sometimes at meetings. I'd rather not go out and cosplay at random, I've gotta have some reason for it. A planned photoshoot or any other event is enough.

Sure, a few.

Have you ever won a prize for said skit?
Nope. Doesn't bother me all to much, if I'm being quite honest.

Do you plan your cosplay outfits waaay before you’re meant to wear them?
Of course, that's the way things work. The only problem is that they're usually switched with other cosplays and/or forgotten in the sands of time.

Heh. A silly question.

Not..really? Not that I can think of? I mean, I've never had the need to fix anything or whatever.

What is the best thing about cosplay?
Seeing other people cosplaying as characters from the series you're cosplaying from as well. Talking with people how they made their costumes, talking about the character and why they chose it (and/or any kind of random talk about the character and relations XD) and all that.

What is the worst thing about cosplay?
Things breaking apart on your cosplay, hearing comments such as "I could've done that SO much better." I mean, if you want to cosplay the same character, fine. If you're better in making cosplays then me, fine. But you do NOT have to rub it into my face that I have simple made costumes.

Just a little something I thought that's...pretty much about what I am. And I'm certain some people here would agree with me. ^^;
I wanna change that though! And not only because I read this!

I wonder how I came to be like this...hmm~, probably because of Sanne, my ex from...3 years back? Or was it 4 years already? Can't remember. ^^;;;
Either way: why am I putting so much effort in keeping a girlfriend? Shouldn't the effort to keep a relationship going come from both sides?
As it says in the link, I used to shower my girlfriends with presents almost every time we met, but a relationship shouldn't be about materialistic things, it should be about feelings and living together without any trouble! Sex is not even a requirement! Not at all!

Yes, I know, I can still be a friendly guy and everything, but what if I had given a little less attention to my previous relationships? Would I've forced my girlfriend into showing that she cared about me and our relationship as well? Would it have equalized our efforts and provided a normal relationship? Would it have made her think that I've lost interest and make her uneasy? So many possibilities which I have to keep in mind...which everyone in a relationship has to keep in mind!

Whoa~, did I just type this? I must've been really talking from the heart here, I didn't intend this post to become this long or this serious about myself! XD

Either way: if anyone's got any advice or comment on my ideas, please say so~! ^__^

Now, about something else: This weekend was fun!
Saturday: I just headed for the train without any definite destination in mind, but I'm glad I did! I bought a 19X19 Go board in Utrecht, which means that I can REALLY focus on making some good joseki and practice various forms of opening and attacking and such! Also: bought a new necklace for my OC, Khanya. (The crazy gypsy/hippy git XD) A white fan without any descriptions on it (FINALLY~!) and a white shawl for Elanthor, seeing that the Midwinter Fair is already around the corner and such.
Then, when I came back to Den Bosch, I first bought Chevalier d'Eon 2 and talked a bit with Jimmy and a friend of his, after they left I was called by Marco, who asked if I could come around and pick up my GameBoy Advance, which I forgot there a few weeks ago. While there, I ate (For some reason, cooked apple in chicken curry = YUM~!), played a bit of Teaching Go versus Stefan, in return learned to play Chess (Now I can finally play Dian! I was so delighted!) and lastly played a...interesting game of Magic, while using one of Radboud's decks. We were going pretty strong, but ended up overwhelmed at the endgame. Oh well, I had fun! ^___^
And then on sunday, I went to Amstelveen, to the Europian Center for Go, where the first national Hikaru no Go day was held. In short, that meant a small introduction into the history of Go and a explanation of Honinbou Shuusaku's games (No wonder he was called the Invincible ._.;), a chance to see a Japan-styled room, complete with authentic Go board, stones and chairs. That was where a few of the official games for titles were played. It was...exhilarating, to say the very least. And a great honour to sit in that same chair as a few of the master players did. Heh, Fujiwara no Sai (A cosplayer, mind you XD) even guided my playing. XD
Entered a small tournament as well, came out with 2 wins and 2 losses and a sort-of determined ranking in which I came out as 18th through 16th kyu. That's pretty high for one who hasn't been playing for all too long yet.

Went home, sleep and now it's all work work work again. This Thursday, the big move from the old city hall to the new one will commence. I have to work from 08:00 to 22:00, for crying out loud! I can go home, have 1 hour of free time, then go to sleep. I certainly hope that I don't ever have to do this again. o___o;; (Though it IS a rare experience to help with a move this big. ^__^)

Aaaanyway, this entry's gonna be pretty random, so don't say I didn't warn ya. ^^

Yesterday, when we were at Lidy for practice for our Princess Princess act at Abunai, we went like "Hey! Tim's gonna come home soon, let's all dress up and go meet him!". So we did. XD

Lidy and Marco in their almost fully complete Princess dresses and me in quite a few pieces of clothing that were borrowed from Lidy...but the borrowing part doesn't matter (Well, it does actually, I was honestly super glad that I could borrow it all AND that they were in my size as well! XD), but then when I wore the outfit and looked at myself in the mirror (with a wig on and all), I just felt...I don't know, at ease with myself. Like, as if all my worries about my body (Yes, I have those, I blame myself ^^;) just became mist and flew out of the window, not to be looked back upon...in short: I LOVED IT!

Then, when we were outside, a lot of people stared at us. What? People from Wassenaar (I almost typed Townsville. XD) haven't seen crossplaying before? Shame on them! XD
Though some people reacted with things like "Oh, you all look so nice!" and we had a guessing game with some kids on who of us was a guy and who wasn't. Brilliant! XD (Oh, and some guys on a moped passed us by, then came by again to take a good look at us. Princess's Smile for you, mister! XD)

Ooooooooooooooooh~...can't wait until Abunai~!! \^O^/

And I bought hair-removing cream today. Gonna try it out tomorrow, woot~!

Also also: I'm busy with work practice at the moment. Going to Lidy on Sunday, practice practice-desu~! I'll bring my camera along so she can tape us practicing, so that we have something to show people who aren't coming to Abunai exactly what we're going to perform on stage! (And give those that ARE coming a taste of what's to come XD)
School's going great! Gotta work on finishing 2 studytasks, but they'll be a piece of cake if I can set my mind to it. After finishing those two, it'll be 15 weeks of work practice for me after that, which will be mostly the same as the last period...but that doesn't matter, because then I know that I can do a good job over there! Use the same systems, take the same phonecalls, everything! ^__^

VERY much looking forward to Abunai, mostly because of being able to see all of my friends again, hug people, break some windows with Karaoke, do a good job at gophering aaaand...to just have fun with everyone~!! ^_________^ (Oh, and to give some sort of apology to Kurosaki Ichigo. I've been a bit too harsh on him at the time when I didn't know he had a language problem...so yeah, that's a important part of the con as well. ^^)

Wow, a peronal update~...haven't had those in a long while. XD

Could people kick me to continue writing on my stories again? I really want people to know who my characters (of which I've cosplayed as 2 already, Kahnya and Elanthor) are and what their role is in the story and all...my muse, where are thou~?
